MVISIONART PROMOSIES

VISION / VISIE

Our History - Visionart Publications was registered in November 1997 as a publishing business with visions of publishing an art magazine to promote South African artist's and provide opportunites for new writers to be noticed. As a small publisher we quickly identified the niche area of promoting not only South African Art but also the written work of Afrikaans authors as a clearly identifiable segment of the consumer market that had - and still has more than 20 years later - unfulfilled potential.
Visual Arts:  Visionart is constantly evolving as any business should - and doing our bit to reduce our carbon footprint by planting trees instead of giving people reason to chop them down - we think twice before we print. The internet and social media platforms has since become a more affordable medium to introduce art in full color to the public - and our facebook page is  doing just that: https://web.facebook.com/swerfkind/ -
is a platform for both Amateur and Professional Artists to showcase their recent work.  We will happily inform the Visionart community about events, exhibitions, shows and even theater performances. We love art: Fine Arts, digital art, illustrations, photographs, paintings, comic and Animation, sculpture's.

Written Books: There is one thing the internet can't beat - and that is that feeling of accomplishment a writer has when a book is finally complete, edited - and printed. There is something to be said about the joy of holding a hardcopy of your written work in your hand that a completed ebook soft copy can just not bring. The scent of a newly printed book, the feel of the crisp pages between your fingers and the neatly typed letters in black on white paper - it makes it all worth while, it makes you want to do it again - and again!
That is why we make it possible for writers to get that first book published.

Visionart Publications provide free advise and offer self-publishing services, editing, proofreading and even translation services to writers who has no idea where to start to publish a book. Working online is how we operate, VisionArt Publications has virtual offices (only) and we don't employ a large team of creative people, rather we offer work-from-home and income opportunities to South African freelance ghostwriters, graphic designes, illustrators, editors and proofreaders (because local is lekker).
